Series/Canon: Dollhouse

History:

http://dollhouse.wikia.com/wiki/Whiskey

Personality:

Actives are, in general, like children. Whiskey isn't exactly any different in that aspect. Unlike most actives, she knows how to program computers. How to use complex machinery and how to defend herself and others. How to prepare food, how to take care of herself when she's alone. There are probably reasons for this, and they probably had to do with the head programmer of the Dollhouse.

When she talks, her voice is even and quiet. She barely blinks, she barely expresses complex emotion. Everything is even and calm.

Actives are not supposed to form strong attachments, but it happens. It happened to Whiskey, though it could be argued that this happened after she had a more or less permanent imprinting.

Often, Actives use repetitive phrasing like "I want to be my best", "Did I fall asleep?" and they generally do not read anything particularly complicated. They really like fairy tales, the more disney-fied versions. Actives are trusting and optimistic.

Everything's going to be all right.
Now that you're here.
Do you trust me?
With my life.

Actives can be very protective of the things that they care about, and Whiskey is no exception to that.

Now, the personality wedges? They obviously have different motivations, personalities, thoughts. They're more complex, but they have the same repetitive phrasing triggers. "Would you like a treatment," for instance, tells them to calm down and stop what they're doing.

There are a few specific wedges that will be provided, as well as some generic ones. Like Ballerina or Rich Woman or Art Show Attendent.

Wedge One: Claire Saunders
  • Claire suffers from a wide-range of phobias, such as: Agoraphobia; Anthropophobia; Heliophobia; Ligyrophobia/Phonophobia; Social phobia; Zoophobia.
  • Every single thing she does, every fiber of her being is dedicated to protecting her friends and patients.
  • She is ethical and moral. She is also completely and totally broken thanks to both programming, design and circumstances.
    • Original Recipe Doctor Saunders was a fairly genial man in his late fifties, early sixties.
    • Some of the alterations to the original Saunders personality included memories related to gender difference and computer skills beyond those of a physician and general surgeon.
  • Topher Brink, the lead programmer of the LA Dollhouse over-emphasized Dr Saunders' morality and ethics for the benefit of the other actives.

Wedge Two: Clyde Randolph (aka: Clyde 2.0)
  • Advanced fighting skills, gun skills, business and real estate acumen.
  • Has no remorse, no morals and no ethics.
  • An altered imprint of the original mind of a Rossum founder, also named Clyde Randolph.

Wedge Three: Crystal Morgan

One half of a Bonnie and Clyde archetype couple.
Sort of dim-witted but sensual, capable of extreme acts of chaos and violence.
Easily manipulated.

Why do you think your character would work in this setting?

It is entirely likely and likely that Whiskey did not accept the offer, but one of her imprints did. Rossum would've allowed this, probably out of curiosity as to what exactly APS was and what they were doing. If New Dodge would be of any interest to their particular interests and endgame.

Which is memory manipulation, acquisition and making sure that only they survive the upcoming Thoughtpocalypse. They would, no doubt, send her with some sort of experimental short term memory wipe pulse-weapon so that they could run an experiment on just this.

As for what she would do, well. That is many-fold. With her imprints, she can work in the clinic, she can work in agriculture and she could work for the bathhouse. I'd like to gauge interest on what would be needed. So I can decide which imprint is Default.

Inventory:

Clothes, cosmetics, medical supplies.
Personality wedges, an imprint chair, a pulse-gun, a handgun.
